Setting up email

Mailboxes are managed in Plesk under Mail. There you create new email addresses and set passwords and forwarding rules. The exact incoming and outgoing mail server addresses for your account can be found on that same page, under the settings for that email address.

Recommended settings

• Username: your full email address (not just the part before the @).
• IMAP (recommended): port 993, with SSL/TLS — keeps your mail synced across devices.
• SMTP (sending): port 587 with STARTTLS, or port 465 with SSL/TLS.
• Always use an encrypted connection (SSL/TLS) — never an unencrypted option.

On your phone (iOS/Android) you can usually just enter the email address and password — automatic settings detection recognizes the ports above on its own.
